Dr. Coskun, originally from Turkey, developed a passion for languages at an early age, which led him to achieve the highest score on Turkey's Student Placement Test (ÖSS) in 2001. During his exchange semester at California State University in 2004, he was inspired to pursue his academic interests abroad, fueling his interest in international education further. Since then, international education has been a driving force in his life and career, shaping his academic and professional journey.
Throughout his career, Dr. Coskun has traveled across the world to study, teach, and conduct research at universities in various capacities, including as a graduate student, higher education professional, lecturer, and scientific staff member. Drawing on years of personal and professional experience in the international education landscape and his qualifications in the field, he founded Coskun International Education Consulting to collaborate with families, schools, and stakeholders in the international education industry. His motivation is to promote international mobility, scientific exchange, and intercultural communication through education.
In addition to his academic achievements, Dr. Coskun has obtained numerous international professional certifications, among them most notables are TESOL Professional Certificate, which he received from Arizona State University, and IATC Professional Certificate, which, received from ICEF Academy, certifies him as a qualified education agent and international student counsellor. Shortly after the publication of his manuscript, he took up a lecturer position at a social science college in Germany, where he currently teaches courses in language and social sciences. He has established a far-reaching network of partnerships with numerous universities, schools, and international education consultants around the world. Through these collaborations, he is able to provide his clients with an optimal level of service, leveraging the collective expertise of a wide range of actors in the international education arena.

Dr. Coskun speaks five languages, namely, Turkish, English, German, Russian, and Kyrgyz. In fact, at any given time, a combination of at least four of these languages can be heard in his household. His adventures in the international educational landscape have been made all the more memorable by the loving presence of his wife and three children.
